Description
The subject property comprises a regular shaped piece of land of slightly tapering
topography extending to approximately 0.101 Acres (0.04 Hectare) Identified shaded pink
on the supplementary title plan opposite.
The site houses a now redundant Scottish Water concrete tank measuring approximately
7.9m x 4.9m set mainly above ground. There is a fixed metal ladder leading to the top of
the tank and edge protection is fitted around the top perimeter of the tank. On top of the
tank is a small concrete block cabinet with dilapidated timber doors.
The site is bounded by a concrete post and wire fence. The former gateway has been
blocked off with timber slats and a stile installed for access. The area around the tank is
grassed over.
It is understood that the site sits within and forms part of a Registered Croft (No: C2894)
and it should be assumed that the land is subject to crofting rights.
The site is situated some distance from the nearest road. It should be noted that the title
does not contain any access rights to the subjects so a prospective purchaser would
require to satisfy themselves in this regard.
Location
is a village on the east coast of the Isle of Lewis in the Outer Hebrides of Scotland, also
known as the Western Isles. It is located approximately 6 miles south of Stornoway on
the road to Harris. Leurbost is the main settlement in the area of the island known as
North Lochs within the parish of Lochs.
Stornoway is an important port and the principal administrative town of the Isle of Lewis
and Harris. The Outer Hebrides is an archipelago of over 70 named islands lying off the
north-west coast of Scotland.
