Shepherd and Hardies to put best foot forward for CFINE at Aberdeen Kiltwalk
On June 2nd an eleven-strong team from the Aberdeen office of Shepherd and Hardies will undertake the Aberdeen Kiltwalk in aid of CFINE (Community Foods Initiative North East), a local charity and social enterprise whose generous work to supply emergency food to those in need at a time when the cost of living crisis is at an all-time high has inspired the property firms to take on this challenge.
CFINE, an Aberdeen-based charity that aims to improve health and wellbeing and the environment, tackle poverty and build resilience for and with disadvantaged, vulnerable, low-income individuals, families and communities in North East Scotland.
The two property firms are uniting to take on the 18-mile ‘Mighty Stride’ that stretches from Duthie Park to Bellfield Park in Banchory.
Team members, Shona Boyd and Giorgia Murray said: “We are delighted to once again support CFINE, a local charity that does vital work for those who need it most in the North East. Thanks must go to all our generous supporters who have helped us almost reach our fundraising target.”
All funds raised by the team will go quickly and directly to CFINE plus all eligible gift aid (up to 25% extra). This means that up to 125% of all funds raised go to CFINE. This is made possible thanks to The Hunter Foundation and Kiltwalk sponsors.

Taking part in the Aberdeen Kiltwalk is the latest effort in Shepherd and Hardies’ endeavour to support CFINE, following the sister firms’ support of the charity’s successful Christmas foodbank drive.
