Description:
The subjects comprise an irregular shaped and relatively level lying agricultural paddock. Access is provided via a single field gate, over the roadside verge, within the eastern boundary. Boundaries are set out in traditional timber post and wire livestock fencing, expect for the western boundary which is currently undefined. There is a small water course along the southern boundary.
Location:
Moffat, with a population of around 2,500, is located within the Annandale district of Dumfries and Galloway and is a former Spa town that is now well established as a tourist destination. The town is bypassed by the A74(M) motorway and is therefore easily accessible by road, with Glasgow around 59 miles to the north and Carlisle around 44 miles to the south. The paddock is located on the eastern side of the B7076, at its junction with the A701, around 1.5 miles to the south of Junction 15 of the A74(M)
